Whim 'n Rhythm Alumnae Association

The Whim Alumnae Board has designated a fund to award up to $3,000 per academic year to the current Whim undergraduate group to fund their participation in non-paying outreach performances or service activities. 

Some criteria for use of the Outreach & Service Fund grants: 

• These concerts must benefit underserved communities who may otherwise not have access to performing arts or a cappella music. Activities on tour locations will also be considered. 
• Organizations/locations without an existing direct affiliation to Yale are preferred. For outreach activities during the school year, those within the New Haven or southern Connecticut area are strongly encouraged in order to foster community-based relationships.
• Activities should include a significant interactive component where possible, either through direct interaction with participants or musical workhsops.
